Meals on Tour
• 3 meals cooked by a safari cook
• able to cater to specific dietary requirements
• but not all possible for gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant & vegetarian meals
• recommended to bring your own allergy-free food items
• provided with salad, vegetable, fruits, beans, pasta, cereal & bread within the budget on tour
• while travelling, shop at local supermarket when possible
Breakfast
• served early with simple meal when there is driving or activities scheduled
• coffee & tea, bread & spreads, cereal, yoghurt, & fruit on occasion
• sometimes with scrambled eggs, porridge, bacon or beans in a later breakfast
Lunch
• served at a picnic spot with a quick and easy prepared food
• mostly sandwiches and salad
Dinner
• traditional campfire cuisine
• such as braai (BBQ), potjie (stew), bobotie (mince), spaghetti & chicken dish
• sometimes, game meats like crocodile & springbok
